Tembinkosi is a keen researcher and practitioner with a passion for applying foresight driven innovation, systems thinking, and data science to resolve the wicked problems of our time, namely poverty and inequality. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Geography, a Master of Science degree in Geo-information Systems and has recently submitted his PhD thesis in Artificial Intelligence for examination. He has contributed to, and co-authored a number of refereed publication in the following areas: Strategic Foresight and Artificial Intelligence, and has co-authored a book on the development of Innovation Systems in South Africa.Tembinkosi has over the past 20 years coordinated local and international projects working with partners across Africa, Europe, and in Canada, and the USA. He is a seasoned business mentor for digital technologies start-ups building solutions to human problems. Tembinkosi is currently the WK Kellogg Foundation Global Fellows Network Liaison for Southern Africa.
