F. F. “Tusu” Tusubira, the Managing Partner of Knowledge Consulting Ltd, holds a PhD from Southampton University, England. He has published more than 60 papers and books as author or co-author, with major focus on ICT for development. In Uganda, he has chaired the National Information Technology Agency of Uganda as well as the Uganda Society for Disabled Children, and served on boards including of the Uganda Communications Commission; the Electricity Regulatory Authority; and the National Citizenship and Immigration Board.As a life-long Rotarian, he has volunteered in India, Nigeria, the Kalahari, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia. He has also served as a District Governor; Vice-Chair of the Rotary International Strategic Plan Committee; a member of the Rotary Foundation Programs Committee, and continues as member of the Rotary Foundation Technical Advisors. He has served on the Rotary Foundation Programs of Scale Selection Committee for four years. He is a recipient of the Rotary Foundation Meritorious Service Award.
