Denis is CEO of Bemol, a retail and consumer finance company in northern Brazil. He co-founded the Museum of the Amazon and the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation. Denis has served as State Secretary for Planning and Economic Development in Amazonas (Brazil) and as a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Denis holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an M.A. in Latin American Studies and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. In 2012 he was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
