Christiana is currently the FASD prevention program coordinator at the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute where she contributes to reducing disabling conditions in children across Saskatchewan Canada. Prior to that, she worked as the program manager of the health portfolio at the TY Danjuma Foundation- the first private philanthropic grant making organization in Nigeria. She is a skilled development worker and program manager committed to promoting quality health care and inclusive development especially for people living in hard-to-reach and underserved communities. A passionate public health professional with over a decade’s experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and people to formulate, design, implement and monitor programs that promote grassroots development and organizational efficiency. At the TY Danjuma Foundation, she has effectively managed over 100 results-based and impactful projects that promote quality and affordable healthcare; maternal and child health, preventable blindness, safe drinking water, hygiene and sanitation, inclusive development as well as access to education and humanitarian response to internally displaced persons (IDPs).

She holds a BS in Microbiology from Madonna University, Nigeria and a Masters of Public Health from University of Central Nicaragua.
