Casper Thulstrup (M.Sc. Political Science) is a development professional with +15 years of experience. Since 2018 he has worked for the Hempel Foundation where he has been driving the development of the Foundations strategies and approaches for Sustaining Biodiversity in Global Hotspots and Improving Quality of Education for Children in low and middle income countries.
Before joining the Hempel Foundation, Casper worked for five years with Save the Children Denmark as Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor in the International Department and later as Senior Strategy Advisor to the Secretary General where he supported the development and management of the organisation wide strategy, business processes and results framework. Previous to joining Save the Children Casper was based in Nairobi where he worked for United Nations Environment Programme in the Quality Assurance Section of the Executive Office. Casper has also worked as a consultant for multilateral and bilateral organisations, both as an independent consultant and as part of Oxford Research and Kabell Consulting.
Areas of expertise include education, biodiversity, strategic philanthropy, results based management, evaluation and the creation of catalytic projects and partnerships to achieve high impact at scale.
