Timeline

On May 22, 2024, 100&Change launched. Between May 22 and August 15, 2024, you are invited to assess your organizational readiness and register.

Before submitting an application, your organization must register by 5:00 PM U.S. Central Time on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Only registrants can submit an application.

Once registration has closed, registrants will have three weeks to submit their applications. All applications are due by 5:00 PM U.S. Central Time on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Over a period of one month, staff will review submissions to ensure they comply with the application requirements and rules.

From Tuesday, October 15 to Monday, November 4, 2024, applicants will score and comment on five applications from other teams, using the scoring rubric (scores are normalized for fairness).

Applicants may be asked to score and comment on additional applications. Final review is due by Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 5:00 PM U.S. Central Time.

Once Participatory Review is complete, the Wise Heads will score and provide feedback on their assigned submissions using the scoring rubric (scores are normalized for fairness).

Informed by the Wise Head Panel review, MacArthur's Board of Directors will then select up to five finalists.

Finalists work with an expert team to strengthen, revise, and refine their solutions, and develop more detailed implementation plans. This stage also includes virtual visits with Lever for Change and MacArthur Foundation.

Selection of the final award recipient rests with MacArthur’s Board of Directors.
