Ellen da Silva is the co-founder and Training Director of Mahin Antiracist Consultancy. She was the first in her family to attend university. With a background in political science, she holds a master's degree from the University of Brasilia, focusing on political elites in Latin America. Ellen served as coordinator at the Teacher Profession Movement (2019-2021) and as advisor at the Human Rights Secretariat of Maranhão (2017-2019). In 2024, she was selected for the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program at Georgetown University. In 2016, she won the "Many Languages, One World" competition, which awarded her the opportunity to deliver a speech at the United Nations. In 2012, she was selected for the Public Service Strengthening Program in Latin America by the Botín Foundation and Brown University. Ellen is part of the leadership networks of the Lemann Foundation, the Botín Foundation, and Vetor Brasil.
