Giovanna is a 22-year-old young leader from Brazil that wants to fall in love with the story of women and girls. As the author at age seventeen of the book "Adolê Sente" [Adolescent], Giovanna fosters gender equity and women in leadership by reinventing feminism through storytelling and writing, writing down what it means to be an adolescent in Brazil and believing in the power of girls.
Giovanna is a founding member of the Global Fund For Women's Adolescent Girls Advisory Council, a group of girls worldwide fighting for gender justice through feminist philanthropy and participatory grantmaking. The AGAC has granted over 300,000 U.S. dollars to girl-led organizations in the Global South. Giovanna's mission is to showcase to the whole world what happens when we give money to girls and see the girl effect in action.
Giovanna is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from Minerva University and traveling the world.
