Jacqueline King began her working career in Public Policy and Administration in Barbados which presented the opportunity to initiate and organise the first Prison Arts Exhibition in the Caribbean. Her work as an international fundraiser with the Caribbean Conference of Churches enhanced her knowledge of social developmental issues which provided an interesting balance with her education and previous duties in public policy. Jacqueline later taught Computer Studies at Queen’s College in the Bahamas. She was a member of several voluntary charitable organizations in Brussels and Washington, DC. She was recognised by the Governor of Maryland for her community work as a member of the Board of the Cultural Academy for Excellence (CAFE].Jacqueline has a BA in Sociology and Politics from the University of the West Indies and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Management from George Washington University. She also has a Diploma in French from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.Her watercolor paintings have been exhibited in Brussels and Washington DC.
