Originally from Bolivia, Cinthia (she/her/ella) is an intersectional feminist and social justice advocate with over ten years of advocacy and grantmaking experience promoting an intersectional lens to advancing human rights, racial and gender equity and equality, and economic and reproductive justice in the United States and globally. A Latina mix-race activist and grantmaker, Cinthia has lived, learned and helped organize in three continents, leading global strategies to resource feminist activists and gender justice movements advancing human rights, bodily autonomy, feminist-led crisis response, and equity and equality, with a strong focus on building deep, mutually accountable and trustworthy relationships. Cinthia currently works to ensure resources are equitably accessible to BIPOC artist disruptors and culture bearers working at the intersection of arts, culture and social justice. She weaves her love for dancing, jewelry design and somatic practice into her life and work, volunteering in service of her community with immigrant/refugee and women/femme’s rights organizations, and enjoys spending time in community creating collective joy.
