Gaurav is the Global Managing Partner of Dalberg Advisors, overseeing global operations and setting strategic direction. Previously, he was the Regional Director for Asia Pacific and led Dalberg’s Impact Measurement and Climate & Energy practices. He founded Dalberg’s first Asia Pacific office in Mumbai in 2009, expanding to seven offices and over 160 staff by 2022. Gaurav advises institutions on impact measurement and scaling, with experience in energy access, financial inclusion, education, and inclusive business strategies.

Gaurav has founded several social enterprises, including an eco-tourism lodge, an organic cotton fashion business, a sustainability-focused travel portal, and an organic tea and wildlife estate. He is also an experienced impact investor, having supported multiple enterprises in the climate and sustainability space. He also serves on the Board of Educate Girls, a leading Indian NGO focused on girls' education and empowerment.

Before Dalberg, Gaurav was a Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group in Sydney and London. He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University and a postgraduate degree in Development Economics from Yale University. He was a Fairfax scholar at the United World College of Hong Kong.
