Dr. Chioma Ogechi Egekeze, EdD, MPH. Dr. Chioma Ogechi Egekeze is a health professional with extensive experience in public health and health education. She holds a Doctor of Education in Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, where her dissertation focused on antihypertensive medication adherence in Sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, Dr. Egekeze earned a Master of Public Health in Global Health from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Political Science from Rutgers University- New Brunswick. Dr. Egekeze is passionate about creating sustainable, equitable, and culturally sensitive health systems that empower communities and individuals.

Her career is marked by a dedication to improving global health outcomes through systematic reviews, data analysis, and educational trainings. She has a keen interest in the areas of noncommunicable diseases and maternal health and has approached this work primarily through the application of implementation science. During the course of her career, Dr. Egekeze has had the privilege to work with international agencies (i.e. UNICEF, UNFPA), nonprofits, law firms, and universities.
