I am a qualified Obstetrician-Gynaecologist with an M.Med in Obstetrics/Gynaecology (MAKCHS) with 25 years’ experience, Co-founder of Babies and Mothers Alive (BAMA) Foundation and former President of Uganda's Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I am a global leader in women's health and advocate for sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health in Uganda. I am the executive director at BAMA Foundation. I am a PhD fellow at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. I am a Reproductive Health Technical Advisor for the Uganda Ministry of Health (MoH) for its reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH) program, co-chair of Technical Working Groups (Maternal and Child Health TWG, Maternal Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR), Family Planning TWG]. I am engaged with national and international partners in implementation research on RMNCAH, health systems, digital health, human capital development and community health.
