Taryn provides support to Giving Pledge Signatories and their families and enjoys deepening relationships with our partners and learning about their philanthropic passions. She helps the Giving Pledge community navigate the many donor tools and resources that further the impact of their giving. Additionally, she manages the Giving Pledge Senior Staff group.

In her previous role at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she supported a portfolio of grants focused on vaccine development and health in the developing world.

Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Taryn managed large-scale fundraising programs at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She has a B.S. from the University of Washington and is an avid backpacker, snowboarder, Husky football fan, community volunteer, and world traveler.
