Shahla Raza is a multifaceted activist, social change advocate, filmmaker, and writer based in Istanbul. With a passion for humanitarian work, Shahla founded the Yusra Community Center in 2016, a volunteer-driven initiative providing a safe space for forcibly displaced communities and people on the move. Over the course of eight years, the center has implemented various programs, including a successful school readiness program, nutrition support for children, livelihood training for women, and family mental health interventions. Shahla is also the driving force behind the Inshirah Collective, a feminist initiative dedicated to promoting peace, justice, and human rights.
