Sean has spent his career supporting organizations and individuals committed to making a positive impact on complex issues in our world. He is also Co-Founder and Partner at SidePorch, a consulting group supporting organizations driving positive social impact alongside business returns. Sean serves on the founding team of the Liminal Collective, a company reimagining the future of human potential. As CEO and Portfolio Manager at Estabrook Investors, he has grown the current absolute return fund-of-funds and leads the development of a second fund that will focus on managers integrating analyses of financial, sustainability and other social impact considerations. Previously, he held executive positions at the MacArthur Foundation and the Jeff Skoll Group and spent a decade teaching at the university and high school levels. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and masters degrees in International Development Policy from Duke University and Interdisciplinary Education from Santa Clara University. He lives in the LA area with his wife and two kids.
