Dr. Sara Naicker is a Research Manager with the DSI-NRF Centre of Excellence in Human Development at the University of Witwatersrand. Sara has a specific interest in early childhood development and more broadly in child and adolescent health and development. Locally, her research covers the ECD space in South Africa and the implementation of integrated ECD programmes in sub-Saharan Africa. On a global level, she is involved in a number of multi-disciplinary, multi-sectoral groups using data for young children to advocate for greater investment in early childhood.
