Becca Gong Sharp is the CEO of IDinsight, a data and evidence NGO advising global development practitioners. Becca previously helped lead IDinsight through a period of exponential growth as COO and Partner, heading growth and operations for nearly six years. Prior to re-joining IDinsight in 2024, Becca served as a presidential appointee in the Biden administration. She led the Eurasia region of the Peace Corps, supervising 19 country offices and 800 staff.
Becca's prior work experience includes over 15 years in the global development sector, including as a strategy consultant, researcher, and NGO co-founder. Becca is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Kazakhstan). She serves on the IREX Board of Directors and Instiglio Board of Advisors. Becca holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Social Studies from Harvard University, an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and an MPA in international development from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Russian.
