Megumi Ikeda is a General Partner at Ode Growth Partners, a European growth venture capital firm focused on planetary and societal resilience. She is also a senior advisor to Law& of DLA Piper. Previously she was the Managing Director of Hearst Ventures Europe which focuses on key thematic investments across consumer products and B2B SaaS businesses. Prior to this, Megumi was the founding partner for Peacock Equity, a GE Capital and NBCUniversal-backed venture capital group. Before this, she worked in corporate M&A and in distribution at NBCUniversal. Megumi started her career in Tokyo as a financial reporter for Dow Jones and an international business manager at Wired in San Francisco.

Megumi guest lectures on venture and entrepreneurship at London Business School and speaks frequently at events about venture capital, entrepreneurship and resilience investing.  

Megumi lives along the Thames in London with her husband and two teenage children. She has a bachelor’s from Columbia College, Columbia University and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.
