Lindsey Barnett is the Executive Director of the Rockdale Foundation, where she supports the strategic direction and management of the foundation's domestic and international grant-making, working to amplify the voice and expertise of local partners and use meaningful data analysis to better capture true impact in improving educational outcomes.
Prior to joining the Rockdale Foundation, she served as the Executive Director of Extra Good, where she provided consulting support in strategic planning, partnership development, communication, and measurement & evaluation to organizations such as the Task Force for Global Health and the Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA), along with a number of other NGOs. One of her most recent initiatives was to lead the design and launch of a new Community of Practice for Medical Donations with CHA, bringing together governments, donors, and NGOs to improve the quality of medical aid delivered to vulnerable populations throughout the globe. She has also worked for the International Rescue Committee, the UNU, New York University, and MedShare, where she led the launch of new sustainability efforts, fostered improved knowledge sharing, and leveraged measurement & evaluation strategies to design new programs to improve maternal health outcomes in Latin America.
Lindsey received her Masters in International Relations with a focus on the Effective Use of International Aid from New York University and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Elementary Education. She has taught in Japan and Uganda, where she designed and hosted a national teacher training seminar with local teachers and school leaders in the most effective means and methods of education. She was selected as an ECOSOC ATHGO Architect of the Future and has a passion for bringing together a diverse body of voices for the sake of accomplishing more together than what can be achieved through individual efforts.
