Katie leads the Environmental, Social responsibility and Governance (ESG) function at Global Innovation Fund (GIF), conducting ESG diligence across the pipeline and portfolio. Katie also co-leads GIF’s gender work and heads up GIF’s Indo-Pacific office having relocated to Singapore in 2022.GIF is a hybrid investment vehicle that accelerates evidence-based innovation through early-stage debt and equity investing and grant-making. GIF is backed by leading bilateral aid agencies, corporates, and foundations, and contributes to filling the pioneer gap between development assistance and development finance.Katie is committed to ethical investing, gender equality and capacity building through portfolio support. Prior to joining GIF in early 2015 Katie worked at Oxfam GB, CMG, part of IPG – the world’s leading marketing and communications company, and O2 UK. Katie is a fluent Spanish speaker and holds an MSc in Gender & International Relations, and an LLB in Law.
